I do so enjoy this picture. It was sent some many years ago by Sir a friend of mine, to me it depicts the absolute nature of slavery and so would love to take her place. First being outdoors with chance however minuet of discovery just caused a twinge in me. Shackle and cuffed trying to keep up with the dominant is made more exquisite by the fact of naked feet on a dirt road with obvious impediments such as rocks or twigs, judging by her facce. Naked exposed to the elements with no where to hide nor the ability to run away from the dilemma until she has reached her destination.

Perhaps with the threats of being left behind to fend for her self or the jokes levied at her for being too slow would drive humiliation to new heights in me. Ah for a country road and an evil mind to create such a scenario.
