1944, from Ger. Angst "neurotic fear, anxiety, guilt, remorse" from O.H.G. angust, from the root of anger (q.v.). George Eliot used it (in Ger.) in 1849, and it was popularized in Eng. by translation of Freud's work, but as a foreign word until 1940s. O.E. had a cognate word, angsumnes "anxiety," but it died out.
angst
noun
an acute but unspecific feeling of anxiety; usually reserved for philosophical anxiety about the world or about personal freedom
angst [(ahngkst)]
A kind of fear or anxiety; Angst is German for “fear.” It is usually applied to a deep and essentially philosophical anxiety about the world in general or personal freedom. (See existentialism.) Dominants have fear? That is a new one for me a fearful dominant. SO does that mean they are sort of scared hee hee a fraidy cat Dominant. That brought a smile to my face .
An interesting word I like it as it comes from the German language and I have German ancestors. It is an angry sounding word good for a Dominant to use I guess.I just did not know that so many Dominants have philosophical anxiety about the world or about personal freedom. You think they would have that all worked out. That said it does not anywhere say that beating a subs ass is the cure for it. Nor is tying up their giggly bits if anything it cuts back on personal freedom does it not. Sort of going with the disease rather than curing it.
We are beaten for their birthdays and spanked when they are upset now we must be responsible for their angst. I tell you one of these days, the sun not shining will be a slaves fault.
Now there was no topping in that blog nope none what so ever!1
