SO why do I switch

A Domme friend asked if I switched from Dom to sub when I felt down and I sort of agreed but after thought I would say that I switch because I miss the excitement and pleasure of subbing not the outside pressures of life but the internal desires( a pleasure that only subs and switches know and Doms/Dommes can only partial understand). When I dom the pleasure might be as great but not the same so I guess I just like both sides too much not to have my cake and ice cream and eat it too.
